Rhea Charles (she/her) – Hello! My name is Rhea and I am a sophomore at Columbia University studying computer science (and potentially minoring in South Asian Studies). In school, I am involved with clubs like Robogals and Girls Who Code who run youth workshops with the goal of increasing gender diversity in the future of tech.

 

I also have three years of experience as a social media researcher for Instagram account Dear Asian Youth. Here, I further my passion for improving social and cultural awareness about Asia and reporting on current events. I’m so excited to join ARTE as an intern this fall and help with the planning and facilitating of art-related events that will amplify the voices of NYC youth!
