Who?
A collective of organizers, non-profit professionals, activists, and artists from across New York City dedicated to supporting and building the future racial justice activists.
What?
A youth-focused learning module and march in solidarity with the March on Washington calling for accountability for state violence, police abolition, and racial, economic and social justice in the United States.
Where?
The March will begin in Downtown Brooklyn and will end at City Hall.
When?
Friday, August 28, 2020 from 12-3 pm with a pre-march training module.
Stipend
It’s important that we recognize the work individuals contribute to social change, and we aim to break the cycle of people doing exceptional revolutionary work with inadequate compensation. Each youth participant between the ages of 16 and 21 will be eligible to receive a stipend upon completion of the initiative.
Transportation
Youth participants will receive transportation support in order to ensure that all boroughs are well represented at the march.
Swag Bag
In addition to having protesting essentials, each youth participant will receive resources aimed to inspire and encourage youth activism on the day of the March and beyond.
