Art and Resistance through Education
Mabel Smith (she/her) grew up in Berkeley, California, and is currently a senior at Columbia University. She is a jazz trombonist, a fan of interdisciplinary art, and is interested in combining the healing and learning powers of art with fostering community and social change. Mabel has worked in development and outreach at organizations in the Bay Area, New York City, and Mexico City, including Ashoka, Education for Sharing, and the Brave House.
